After many years of ministry as Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church in London, Ontario, Sheldon joined MCBC in 2014 as Pastor of Discipleship and Small Groups. His theological training includes a Master of Arts in New Testament Studies from Wheaton College and a Bachelor of Theology from Tyndale College.
Sheldon loves helping people belong in Christian community and grow deeper in knowing God. His vision is for MCBC to be a community of vibrant small groups, where every person is joyfully taking their next step in following Jesus.
Sheldon and his wife, Sheila, are blessed with three grown-up kids, two of whom are married. He enjoys table tennis, cycling, and life as a grandfather!
